Data protection

Our website may be used without entering personal information. Different rules may apply to particular services on this website. These are explained below.

SSL

Despite the use of a certified and licensed SSL encryption within our website (see certificate at the left side of your browser's adress bar), we must note, that internet based data transmission has security holes and therefore a complete protection against unauthorized access by third parties is impossible.

Contact form and e-mail

On our website we offer you the opportunity to contact us by using a contact form. In this case, information provided by the user is transmitted and stored for the purpose of facilitating communications with the user. The consent of the user for the processing of the data is obtained before sending.

Alternatively, you can contact us via e-mail by using the address given on our website. In this case your e-mail address and personal data given in the e-mail are transmitted. By contacting us via e-mail your mail server usually provides an IP address. For further assistance please ask your responsible service provider or hosting partner.

No data is transferred to third parties. This data will only be used for the purpose of facilitating communications with the user.

The data we receive via contact form or e-mail will be deleted as soon as the corresponding communication with the user is completed. This does not apply, if the content of the communication also has legal significance afterwards.

Cookies

Our website uses a so-called "session cookie". This cookie only saves your choosen language during the visit of our website. It is deleted automatically as soon as you close your browser.

You can generally prevent the embedding of cookies by changing the settings on your browser accordingly. Below you will find the instructions for the most popular browsers:

Google-Maps via opt-in

We use the “Google Maps” component of  Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter „Google“, soley through an opt-in method. That means, the plugin of Google will be loaded, initialized, the relevant cookies will be enabled and usually your IP address will be transmitted to Google only by your explicit request and click on the button.

Each time Google Maps is requested, Google sets a cookie to process user settings and data during the visit of the page with the integrated Google Maps component. This cookie is usually not deleted by closing the browser, but will expire after a certain amount of time, unless you manually delete it. If you disagree with the processing of your data, you may disable the "Google Maps" service and prevent the transmission of data to Google. To do this, you must disable the Java Script feature in your browser. However, please note that in this case you will not be able to use "Google Maps", or only to a limited extent.

Transfer to third parties

We will only pass on your data to third parties within the scope of legal regulations or with the appropriate consent. Otherwise, a transfer to third parties will not take place, unless we are obliged to do so due to mandatory legislation, i. e. transfer to external parties such as supervisory or law enforcement agencies.

Server Logfiles

For technical reasons, data such as the following, which your internet browser transmits automatically to us respectively to our web space provider (so called server logfiles), is collected:

  • websites that you visit
  • your Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • number of requests
  • type and version of the browser
  • date and time of your visit
  • status code (request successful/not successful)

This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal information you may have provided, thereby making it impossible to connect it to any particular person.

The data will be deleted after 3 days.

Since the collection and storage of the data in the logfiles is compulsory for the failure-free operation of the website, there is no possibility for the user to object.

Information / Cancellation / Deletion

Your rights as a user of this website are standardized in the articles 15-22 GDPR. This includes:

  • Right of access by the data subject (art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’) (art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (art. 20 GDPR)
  • Right to object (art. 21 GDPR)

Furthermore, you have the right to revoke your consent to the storage and processing of your personal data. This can be revoked with future effect at any time.
