Data protection

Our website may be used without entering personal information. Different rules may apply to particular services on this website and for visiting our profiles in the social networks LinkedIn and Xing. These are explained below.

SSL

Despite the use of a certified and licensed SSL encryption within our website (see certificate at the left side of your browser's adress bar), we must note, that internet based data transmission has security flaws and therefore a complete protection against unauthorized access by third parties is impossible.

Contact form and e-mail

On our website we offer you the opportunity to contact us by using a contact form. In this case, information provided by the user is transmitted and stored for the purpose of facilitating communications with the user. The consent of the user for the processing of the data is obtained before sending.

Alternatively, you can contact us via e-mail by using the addresses given on our website or on our profiles in LinkedIn and Xing. In this case your e-mail address and personal data given in the e-mail are transmitted. By contacting us via e-mail your mail server usually provides an IP address. For further assistance please ask your responsible service provider or hosting partner.

No data is transferred to third parties. This data will only be used for the purpose of facilitating communications with the user.

The data we receive via contact form or e-mail will be deleted as soon as the corresponding communication with the user is completed. This does not apply, if the content of the communication also has legal significance afterwards.

Cookies

We do not use any cookies on our webseite, nor any temporary, so-called "session cookies". No personal data will be collected by visiting our website. Please see the next point for the optional use of Google Maps.

Google-Maps via opt-in

We use the “Google Maps” component of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter „Google“, soley through an opt-in method on our website. That means, the plugin of Google will be loaded and initialized only by your explicit request and click on the button. Cookies are not used in the version of "Google Maps" we use.

The use of “Google Maps” and the information obtained through “Google Maps” is according to Google’s Terms of Service https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=en&gl=de as well as the additional Terms and Conditions for "Google Maps" https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html (only in German available).

Server Logfiles

For technical reasons by visiting our website, data such as the following, which your internet browser transmits automatically to us respectively to our web space provider (so called server logfiles), is collected:

  • websites that you visit
  • your Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • number of requests
  • type and version of the browser
  • date and time of your visit
  • status code (request successful/not successful)

This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal information you may have provided, thereby making it impossible to connect it to any particular person.

This data will be deleted after 3 days.

Since the collection and storage of the data in the logfiles is compulsory for the failure-free operation of the website, there is no possibility for the user to object.

Social networks: LinkedIn and Xing

dr&c has profiles in the social networks LinkedIn and Xing. In this regard we and the provider of the corresponding social network are together responsible for all data processing activated by a visit of these profiles. But unfortunately we have neither any possibility to control the data processing of the social networks nor do we know the corresponding processes in detail.

Therefore, we would recommend to contact directly the provider of the social networks, if you have any questions regarding the data processing of LinkedIn and Xing or if you want to assert your rights concerning this matter. Please feel free to contact us, if you need assistance.
